Dear Members, I hereby give you notice that the Parish Council Meeting of St Wenn Parish Council will be held on Tuesday, 10th March 2026, 7.30pm in St Wenn WI Hall. All Members of the Council are hereby summoned to attend for the purpose of considering, and resolving upon, the business about to be transacted at the meeting, as set out hereunder. Press and Public are invited to attend. Meetings are held in public and could be filmed or recorded by broadcasters, the media, or members of the public.
1. Persons Present / Apologies:
To NOTE persons present and RECEIVE apologies for absence.
2. To RECEIVE any Declarations of Interest from Members / Dispensations:
To RECEIVE any Declarations of Interest from Members.
To RESOLVE to grant any request for Dispensation in line with the Councillor’s Code of Conduct 2012.
3. Chairman’s Welcome: Cllr. Shapter.
4. Cornwall Councillor’s Report: To RECEIVE a report on the business of Cornwall Council from Councillor Rowland O’Connor.
5. Public Participation: To RECEIVE comments from members of the public concerning items on this agenda. This provides an opportunity for members of the public to raise questions about, and comment upon, items on this agenda. Total time allowed will be 15 minutes (limit of 5 minutes per person) which may be varied at the discretion of the Chairman.

6. Election of Vice Chairman: To RECEIVE nominations for election of Vice Chairman.
7. Meeting of Council: Minutes 10th February 2026. To RESOLVE that the Minutes of the meeting of St Wenn Parish Council as above, having been previously circulated and taken as read, be approved and signed (attached). To NOTE any matters arising from the Minutes.
8. Planning Applications for Consultation, and any that may arrive:
None at this time.
9. Planning decisions received from Cornwall Council: Approved / Refused.
None at this time.
10. Finance Reports: 10th March 2026.
To RESOLVE to adopt the Finance Reports as above including budget v actual and expenditure to date, and authorise the payments of accounts (attached) and AGREE the bank reconciliation so presented.
11. Co-option: To AGREE the co-option of the person wishing to become a Councillor on this Council.
12. Lloyds Bank: To AGREE a change of Mandate to update signatories.
13. Clerk’s Report: To RECEIVE a report on the past month.
14. Website: To RECEIVE an update from the Clerk.
15. St Wenn Primary School, MUGA: To RECEIVE an update on usage.
16. Signposts: Treliver and Polgrain Turn. To RECEIVE an update.
17. Defibrillator Training: To DECIDE upon a suitable date for training.
18. Correspondence: All correspondence of interest to Councillors has been forwarded.
